#10 of 35 hotels in Kelowna based on Tripadvisor

6.6/10

The hotel has a central location in town, but some aspects need improvement. The rooms had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and the noise from the generator outside was bothersome. The staff was helpful and polite but could benefit from better organization for different guest preferences. The hotel offers parking at a downtown spot but lacks certain amenities like a pancake maker. The dining experience was fair, with some issues in food quality. Overall, the hotel is decent but has room for enhancement.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in faced Bernard Street and seemed to have been a smokers' room as there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. Additionally, it was noisy due to being located right above the generator at the back of the building.
Service
7.0
The service was very helpful and polite overall. However, it would have been better to have a designated floor or side for young adults during the lively summer season in Kelowna.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location is convenient for exploring the town, but it is essential to note that it is above a patio used by guests for smoking, which might not suit everyone.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had some drawbacks, including food that seemed average and issues with quality. Despite efforts like offering fresh fruit and fritatas, there were some concerns about the overall dining setting.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities provided were satisfactory, although lacking in certain aspects that could enhance the overall guest experience.

The hotel is wonderfully located steps away from the lake and right in the heart of the city centre, providing a great base for exploring Kelowna. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and ample breakfast options. However, the jacuzzi bath setup facing the street on a metal structure blocks the view, which is a downside. The service was mixed, with some helpful assistance but lacking in addressing guest requests effectively. Dining offered a good start to the day but had some issues with non-guests present. The hotel boasts features like secure parking and a convenient smoking area above the patio for guests.

The service was fantastic overall, with friendly staff willing to assist, although there was one rude encounter. The dining experience offered some delicious options, but there was room for improvement in the food quality. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the lack of adequate seating was a downside.

The service was top-notch with professional and helpful staff, although the room wasn't vacuumed during my stay. The downtown location was just perfect, providing easy access to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, although lacking some breakfast options. The dining experience met expectations with good choices but could use a bit more variety. The facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay.
